Do not ignore suspicious signs or proposals; do not be absent-minded and never lose your mind. To avoid Online Scams, beware of links sent by someone, do not click without first finding out what it is, and never download software that someone may send you or link to in their profiles. They may occur to be spyware programs that can steal information from your computer such as credit card numbers, important secret information and passwords.
It also happens that Online Scams are perpetrated not by people you are chatting with but by the dating service itself; like some specified fly-by-night operations stealing credit card numbers or other personal information for their own purpose. As a rule these operations disappear without a trace, having taken your money or information with them instead of a pleasant communication with a person you liked or it only seemed to you that you liked him/her.
Moreover, there are many other distinctive signs revealing Online Scams: the most evident is the fact that professional scammers don’t really read your letters as they are too busy corresponding with hundreds of potential victims, thus they simply don’t have time for that.
